The reception and cashier area of the Bursar’s Office, located in Plant Hall, received a complete make-over in summer 2013.
The quality of service provided by this office can significantly impact a student’s and parent’s satisfaction with the institution as a whole and affect student enrollment.
Therefore it was imperative that the project required not only replacement of outdated furniture but also to create an environment that supports superior customer service and delivers a positive lasting impression consistent with the institutions image.
Practical storage and individual equipment placement was critical for the design of the new workstations incorporating all aspects of task activity in a very limited space. Partitions provide greater privacy for customer service interaction.
The renovated 330 SF office space now features four service counters including one accessible counter as well as common storage area.
